Acts Acquisition & Development Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Interior Design Manager position.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the design team by providing direction, insight, motivation, and training.
Participating in project scope walk-throughs and survey assessments, including inventory of existing product and detail documentation of community engaged projects.
Engaging in the review of fixtures, furniture, and equipment specifications with the design lead, plan identification, and final quotes to ensure final order is accurate.
Assisting major projects in the review, selection, documentation, purchase, coordination, and installation, including close out documents.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited interior design program
Minimum of two years' experience in the interior design field, preferably in the hospitality or senior living industry
Prior experience with contract design exposure (preferred)
Participate at some level of ASID or IIDA organizations for continuing education in design
Strong interior design, project management, and presentation skills
Digital tool proficiency including Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, BlueBeam, and 3D modeling is strongly preferred
