Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding Primary Care Services and Nurse Practitioner Program.
In this role, you will provide services across the continuum of care (independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing).
This is a unique opportunity to build and manage an outpatient Primary Care Practice on campus, as well as provide care for our assisted living and skilled nursing residents.
You will plan and direct all functions of the resident care clinical area, including but not limited to, management of staff and the day-to-day operations of the practice, COVID-19 related tasks, managing the residents’ healthcare needs in compliance with State and Federal regulations, maintaining knowledge of the long-term care industry and geriatrics through continuing education, and serving as clinical preceptor for Nurse Practitioner students.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Master’s degree in Advanced Nursing; preferably in geriatrics
Must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in the applicable work state
Minimum of five years' experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or relevant work experience in nursing care; particularly working with seniors (CCRC, skilled care, and/or assisted living environment) is preferred
