This role is the top position responsible for sales, market share and profit and loss (P&L) for CARVYKTI, the first personalized medicine and cell therapy launch for Johnson & Johnson.
This role has direct accountability for the sales, marketing, field reimbursement and operations functions end-to-end.
This position leads a team of sales, marketing and operational professionals including staff that lead other leaders across the nation.
This role leads a new go-to-market model that will set the stage for future novel and complex launches in cell and gene therapy.
This role serves as the co-chair of the joint US Commercialization Committee as part of the alliance agreement with Legend Biotech.
This role is responsible for the development and execution of an integrated U.
S.
strategy, directing all U.
S.
commercial activities and the design, planning, and execution of all the commercial tactics to support successful growth of CARVYKTI.
Additional responsibilities include: Directing and coordinating critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing.
Assuring franchise, lifecycle management, and brand strategies to support overall financial and strategic goals of the Oncology franchise.
Holding the field leadership team accountable for continually refining and executing plans to capitalize on emerging opportunities within their geographies.
Providing commercial input for business development opportunities.
Co-lead in partnership situations the cross-global marketing strategy and life cycle management.
Driving brand strategies to support future company vision.
Leading, coaching, motivating, and retaining direct and indirect cross-functional team members and coordinating critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management and development, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing.

Qualifications Required skills: A minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years of pharmaceutical experience Marketing experience on multiple brands at various stages in the product lifecycle, including product launch experience Pharmaceutical sales experience Strong financial acumen Ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed organization both within Commercial and cross-functionally Preferred skills: An understanding of CAR-T specific technologies, supply chain, and commercial strategies Global marketing experience Early commercial development experience This position is based in Horsham, Pennsylvania and requires up to 25% domestic travel.

The target salary for this position is $188,000-$345,000.
