We are a Real Estate Company seeking for an extremely efficient, organized, energetic ambitious individual who would be able to multi-tasks while working with others as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
The Leasing Agent/Administrative Assistant is for IMMEDIATE HIRE for our South Jersey rental buildings and houses.
The leasing agent will work closely with the Regional Property Manager as well as the corporate office.
Applicant must be punctual, dependable, a quick learner and a self-starter.
One who possess excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: * The Leasing Process: Greeting residents and prospective tenants, showing apartments, processing applications, assisting in completing leases and deposits, and assuring apartments are ready for move-in.
* Maintaining well-organized files.
* Answering phones.
* Updating availability and traffic reports on a weekly basis.
* Performing move-out inspections and processing move-out documentation.
* Assisting in monitoring renewals, including distributing and following up on renewal notices.
* Respond to incoming email inquiries on a timely basis and schedule tours.
* Organize and document high volume leasing traffic and maintenance orders.
* Assist with collecting past and initial rent payments, and lease execution.
Qualifications: * Professional appearance and demeanor.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent phone and e-mail etiquette.
* Knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
* Prior leasing office experience preferred.
Education and/or Experience: * High school diploma or GED * 1 year of Leasing Consultant experience preferred.
* Experience in collections and resident relations a preferred * Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently required.
* Strong oral and written communication skills required.
* Demonstrated ability to work with people and promote teamwork.
Computer Skills: * General computer skills required.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
* Propertyware experience preferred (or experience with a comparable system required).
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.
00 - $25.
