Here is an American made, Gemeinhardt 53SB Solid Silver Open Hole flute, in Near Mint Condition, just back from being fully serviced.
These Advanced Level Gemeinhardt flutes were made from 2006 through 2010 and feature a Solid Sterling Silver Head and Body (not Silver Plate) with solid Silver keys.
They are a little heavier, as a result, than other, plated flutes, but benefit from a richness of tone that you just can’t get out anything less than Solid Silver.
The contemporary Gemeinhardt equivalent is the 33SSB Flute, which sells for over $3500!.
This particular 53SB dates from approximately 2006, and does have a Low B-foot and Gold Plated Lip Plate.
It also comes with a full set of plugs for the otherwise open holes, and a cleaning rod.
This flute was in great condition when we received it, but has had a full servicing none the less, in Late May 2023.
The action has been adjusted and any leaks corrected.

There are no dents, no dings, and no scratches to the silver.
This beauty looks just about new, and plays beautifully.
The 53SB comes with its original, leather covered hard case, and a second, padded leather soft, zippered case cover.
Please note that one handle on the leatherette case is partially detached.
